Ducky Zebra Wins Stand at Spring Fair Trade Show 2024
We are delighted to be one of twelve businesses selected to win a stand at this year’s Spring Fair, 4-7 February, at NEC Birmingham. The competition was run by Dragons' Den’s Theo Pathitis in partnership with Spring & Autumn Fair.
Spring Fair is described as “Retail’s definitive wholesale shopping destination.” It allows the retail industry to explore and discover new products and brands, from homeware and gifts to fashion and beauty.
Not only have we won a stand, but we’re also one of three finalists to ‘Pitch Live’ our products on stage to a panel of judges during the exhibition. This is a brilliant (albeit nerve wracking) opportunity to showcase our products.
During 2023 we grew our wholesale offering, increasing Ducky Zebra stockists from four to twenty one. Building partnerships with independent stores who share our values and commitment to sustainable gifting has been key to our success. We are excited to continue our steady growth in 2024, allowing us to bring Ducky Zebra to new areas and regions in the UK (and beyond).
Where can you find us at Spring Fair?
You will be able to find us in Hall 4, stand 4D96 from 4th to 7th February at the NEC, Birmingham.
We’ve attended INDX KIDS before, but this will be our first time at Spring Fair. We would love to meet as many friendly faces as possible, so that we can discover more about your business and understand what you’re looking for when buying new products. And obviously we would love for you to consider Ducky Zebra as a potential supplier.
A little more about the competition
In 2021 we were delighted to win Theo Pathitis’ Small Business Sunday Award. Theo Pathitis is well known for his appearances on Dragons’ Den and is a retail magnate and entrepreneur. He is also the founder of Small Business Sunday (SBS), which is a fantastic community of small businesses and entrepreneurs. Winning the award has given us access to this community and opened up an array of opportunities, from additional training and support to entering competitions such as this one.
The competition to win the stand involved a rather hefty application form, a round of shortlisting by SBS, followed by a further round of shortlisting by Spring & Autumn Fair. We’re one of twelve winners - and are absolutely buzzing.

What do we look for in a Ducky Zebra stockist?
We’re looking for partners who share our values and commitment to sustainability, and are passionate about their retail store(s). Key things we’re looking for include:
- Commitment to sustainable fashion and/or gifting
- Passion for your retail offering and store/s
- Enthusiasm for our Ducky Zebra brand values
- Brilliant customer service and a loyal/growing customer base
- Location (we don’t want our stockists to be on top of one another)
- Desire to build a partnership
